Ya, I appreciate it. I had just gotten up and this thread is first on my list of looking at. After that I check for issues before I head off to work. o.O

May this year is lucky. It is because we had no snow days this year, which is awesome. So ya, out on the 22nd. Win!

well--still could have a snow day, I can remember snow in april AND may in the midwest----

(higher ups...there is only one now).....

well, tests--got there early, got into my first one early, got my blood test done there too (was originally supposed to travel across town to have it done after all the others)...had to wait more than an hour (plus 1/2) for my last one--which was late on top of it, so an hour 1/2 sitting in a waiting room just getting more annoyed and anxious, yeah it was a fun day....cant wait to find out how I did.

Test huh? I try to avoid them... I don't really want to be told I'm too stressed or my blood pressure is two high cause I'm too stressed or crap like that.

yeah, very stressful---and the dumb doctor is NOT much more helpful (got my results back, nothing about the areas that I wanted to know about, however, they found stuff that has absolutely nothing to do with what they were looking for --and has nothing to do with my problems...and yes, they want me to.....see more doctors to have even more tests which will tell them no more information than they already have all the while slowly bankrupting me).
I think he knows I shant be returning to his office (thats not my area of expertize..ya, I figured that out).
I KNOW I am too stressed out (have PLENTY of reasons to be too)...and yeah, its not helping my health in any way, but telling me I have more problems in areas that I didnt even want to have tested isnt helping me or my stress level. (not to mention the anxiety of what those problems could point to---), though after doing some research some of my problems are probably caused by my stress level!

what I wouldnt give for a week in one of those sarcophagus things from sg1---

Sounds like most of your stress is coming from seeing doctors. I'd say stop going for a while unless you are seriously ill. Otherwise try to stay away. Just my two cents.

yeah, will not be going to another doc for a while (gotta pay off the first one and his 'tests' anyways), and I dont have a gp anymore since my last one is not in my 'plan' now.

I hate all that "plan" crap. Oh you can't go here cause we don't cover them. And why the hell don't you? No body freaking knows! Why won't the doctor's accept all insurances? I mean wtf...

what makes it even worse is my old gp basically took all insurances...EXCEPT my new one! (new one says that it covers 98% of the same doctors...gee dont I feel special being in that 2%?).

talked to the dummy today--says I should have gotten a copy of my tests when I was having them done (he didnt say I needed to and they didnt ask--gee nice to tell me now...had to call up the hospital and get transfered around and ....since I dont own a fax machine I have to snail mail them an authorization to release information, /sigh)....good thing I dont need them for some time---

azzer, yeah, wish that our doctors were paid by taxes, might actually be able to afford them then! (and stress is something I have daily along with my corn flakes and vitamins)

Ya, 98% my butt. More like they only cover 2%, but it is better to tell you 98%. Oh well. Not much we can do about it other than complain.

well....today was fun...spent a bunch of time on the phone trying to figure out why the hsa wasnt transferred over like it was supposed to (we filled out all the forms, mailed them and I even have copies to prove it!)...so the old bank is taking out chunks of the funds and nickel and dime-ing the rest since hubby's company isnt depositing into it now...and the other which we spent 2 months setting up has a $0 balance! (cant wait for them to start giving us a negative balance!)....
if we go thru the 'official' channels --it will take another 20 days, cost another $25 (plus may fees)...and still not fix the problem!!

gee...somehow I knew that following the rules wouldnt get things accomplished....

went out for lunch, had a burrito.

I'm sorry to hear that. I have been lucky enough not to have any issues with my credit union so far in my life. I hope it stays that way.

I had a sandwich for lunch yesterday. And then homemade pizza for dinner. Yum.

its not my bank--its the bank the plan uses for the home spending account! (my bank is good--only had a few issues with them). when the company changed over to the new plan the hsa had to get moved too---well, even though we went thru the hoops and sang the american anthem backwards, it didnt get done (gee go figure)..so when I got the account statement (sent out only QUARTERLY) I noticed that one account is empty and the other is still there with a balance--and getting feee'd to death!

well hopefully the alternative route the original one informed of us will work, otherwise come may I will be back on the phone trying to figure it out again

got my herbies planted yesterday...got some basil and parsley and dill and thyme and oregano...all now in one pot (that is less than the weight for my balcony)....and they got some rain too so they look happy.

also did my cleaning/rearranging yesterday--got all the stuff into my spare bedroom and have space to walk around the apartment again...nice not bumping into stuff.

sorry I forget that you havent had real insurance yet

....this company is the first one that either my hubby or I have been in that does this. When you have a family and have to take them to the doc every month--you will learn about hsa's and other spending accounts! *(IF we still have insurance then----).

made pizza for dinner....

yeah rain here too. (my herbs really appreciate it, and I appreciate not having to remember to water them

I have renter's, car, and health/dental insurance. And I think I even have life insurance. But no HSA. Course that could be because I don't have a house.

Went to my parents for dinner. Had chicken and other yummy stuff.

Rained a lot this morning, not so much this afternoon. Meant I could wash my car, which needed to be done.

lol...I wish it were for spending on my home, though I dont think ours has enough in it for that either

insurance...have health, life, car, renters and owners, hubby has dental (dentists are just money grubbers--there is NO reason to see them unless you have a major problem), got most of those thru his work the rest with good ole state farm.

yeah rain...will wash off the pollen from the car (its got a yellow dust all over it)...instead will have leaves plastered all over it and stuck under things that will take time to remove.......and astonishment that they actually GOT there in the first place!

Ya I have health, dental, and life through my work. I have to pay for it so meh. Haven't seen a dentist in a while. Think I might need to go just to make sure I don't have cavities.

Ya rain does wash somethings off but adds even more if you park by a tree. Oh well.

You guys could send some of that rain our way, we are in moderate to serious drought conditions. We are about 7" short of what we should have had by now. The warmer than normal weather has been nice though.
